cover up with a cozy
I have always wanted to make a cozy for something. Since my sewing machine is in a "public" part of the house, I figured I'd try to cover it up and make it look pretty. It's certainly not perfect, but it's nicer than the plastic cover, I think. This was also my first time making my own piping.
Now I'm trying to find other things that need cozying.

The Result
We are always looking for funky, flouncy skirts to pair with our shirts, and none fits the bill better than this. Both pattern and fabrics come courtesy of Anna Maria Horner's scrumptious book, Seams to Me.
It's impossible to wear this skirt without feeling pretty sassy. Case in point:
I can't wait to whip up a few more of these for my nieces!

Bumbletees is based in Germantown, Tennessee. We create unique appliqued tees for women and children. We have a small studio where all the magic happens! Our inspiration comes from our children, beautiful fabrics and inspiring art. All of our designs are originals... hand drawn and stitched in house by our great bumbletees team (made up of stay-at-home moms)
